Bug Reports / Help Requests
At the University of Florida High Performance Computing Center, we understand that problems can arise through any number of ways. As such, we have setup a Bugzilla website in order to track these problems. For the users of our facilities, we encourage the use of our Bugzilla tracking system for any and all problems, questions, or requests.
The bug tracking system should be used for any of the following:
- Reporting of problems with the system
- Questions concerning use of software or compilation of your own software
- Questions concerning the general operation of the system
- Requests for new software to be installed on the system
- General accolades for the system engineers that have brought this system to you for use
Tips for providing a good request:
- If you have a problem script, let us know where the script is
- Use meaningful, specific subject headers
- Be precise and informative about your problem
- Describe your problem's symptoms in chronological order
- Describe the goal, not the step
